VB243
VB243 ASI INTELLIGENT REDUNDANCY SWITCH
VB243 is an automatic switching system for ASI intelligent road preparation. It has two signal paths that can be switched through autonomous operation and in-depth analysis. The complete VB243 system consists of VB120 controller module, VB242 monitoring module, and VB243 switching system module. Can be installed on a RU rack. Based on the basic signal ASI and monitoring standard (ETSI TR101 290), if a signal of poor quality is detected, it can automatically switch to the standby signal.
The 1RU rack provides dual power supplies and the VB243 switch card has a magnetic lock relay, which prevents signals from being disturbed even when the power supply is completely lost. The VB243 switch module closes a small part of the signal input from the two input terminals for amplification, and then is sent to the adjacent VB242 ASI input module through the two distribution rings. This allows both inputs to be monitored and analyzed simultaneously. Any relevant preset parameters can be detected, and input faults can be checked. If not detected, only one switch will be executed. In order to avoid the influence of the minimum switching time of the switch, self-configuration is provided, and the execution status of all parameters in the TS 101 290 specification can be regarded as the switching standard. The VB243 system is completely independent in automatic mode, and can be controlled by the EII (External Integrated Interface) upper-layer network management system based on extensive XML, or triggered by SNMP.
The VB243 also has a unique super Local mode function, which can be used to cut off the network control through the manual control panel buttons in an emergency. All parameters can be controlled through the built-in Web interface. The Web GUI contains a visual overview and provides parameters used in switching decisions and system status.
The VB120 provides support for TS 101 290 analysis. In addition to the two main ASI input ports required by VB242, it can also be used to temporarily monitor the ASI input port.
